Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • What is kinesiology?

Systematic Kinesiology is a gentle, holistic therapy that uses muscle testing to identify imbalances in the body and support the healing of numerous health conditions. As a professional kinesiologist in London, I help clients with issues such as menopause, PMS, infertility, stress, low energy, digestive problems, and emotional wellbeing. Kinesiology considers the whole person — physical, emotional, nutritional, and energetic — to support balance and long-term health.

  • How does kinesiology work?

In a kinesiology session, I use light muscle testing to “ask” the body where imbalances are stored. (The fascia is a connective web that is wrapped around muscles, organs, nerves, bones, blood vessels etc and it is alive with sensory receptors). Your body responds instantly, helping us uncover hidden nutritional needs, emotional stress, energetic blockages or physical tension. Once identified, I apply gentle corrections such as lymphatic reflex-point stimulation, acupressure techniques, energy balancing, and lifestyle guidance.

  • What can kinesiology help with?

Many people seek kinesiology for support with:

    - Stress, anxiety, and emotional wellbeing

    - Digestive issues, food sensitivities, and gut health

    - Low energy, fatigue, or poor sleep

    - Hormonal balance and women’s health

    - Injury healing, muscle tension and aches

    - Focus, concentration, and learning challenges

Always consult your GP for diagnosis or urgent health concerns.

  • What happens in a kinesiology session?

    A typical appointment includes:

A friendly consultation about your health history and goals

Muscle testing to identify areas of imbalance

    Gentle corrections to restore balance

Personalised lifestyle, nutritional, or stress-relief recommendations

Most clients describe sessions as deeply relaxing and often notice positive changes after the first appointment. However, longstanding issues often require 3-6 sessions (or more) to heal.

  • How many sessions will I need?

Every person is different. Some clients feel a shift after 1–2 sessions, while deeper or long-term issues may need 4–6. Some people like to have kinesiology treatments as a preventative measure and to keep their health on track. We’ll agree a plan that works for your needs and goals.

  • How long is a kinesiology session?

The initial consultation is 60–90 minutes

    Follow-up sessions: usually 60 minutes

  • Is kinesiology safe?

Yes. Kinesiology is non-invasive, gentle, and suitable for all ages, including children. I am fully insured and registered with The Academy of Systematic Kinesiologists.

  • Do I need to prepare for my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing, avoid heavy meals beforehand, and bring details of any medications or supplements you’re taking.

  • Will I need to undress?

No — kinesiology sessions are done fully clothed.

  • How much does a kinesiology session cost?

    First consultation: £90

    Follow-up sessions: £90

    Children (1 hour) £60

I also offer packages if you’d like to commit to a series of sessions at a reduced rate.

  • Where are you based?

Kensal Rise/Kensal Green, which is easily accessible by tube (Bakerloo line), Overground (Mildmay and Lioness lines), Buses (52, 18, 6, 187, 28) and by car (parking metres are available nearby).

  • Do you see children or teenagers?

Yes. Kinesiology can be very helpful for young people with stress, anxiety, learning difficulties, energy issues and other health conditions. For under-18s, a parent or guardian must be present.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations with less notice may be charged at the full fee.
