Can kinesiology help with eczema and other skin conditions?

Clear up eczema and other skin conditions quickly, gently and naturally with kinesiology treatments

Many different skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, hives and more can be improved and cleared with kinesiology. The causes and treatments for each person will vary, depending on what the client presents with. However, there are a number of kinesiology techniques and tools that can reduce inflammation, itching and discomfort, and prevent scaly or red patches from appearing on the skin, whatever its cause.

Rather than using harsh creams or steroids to treat just the visible symptoms, a kinesiologist looks for the root cause, and considers food sensitivities, digestion (including the gut microbiome), environmental factors (washing powder, bubble baths etc), nutritional support and emotional or stress release techniques to treat skin issues. It may sound odd but suppressed emotions can play a huge role in various skin eruptions and flare ups. (Think about how your face may blush or flush when you’re embarrassed and it’s clear to see the mind-body connection at work).

Often stressful events, in combination with too much of a particular food type, such as cow’s milk or sugar, an environmental allergen or a lack of particular nutrients or micro-nutrients, which a kinesiologist will muscle test for, may be contributing to, or causing a flare up.

When aggravating factors are gently addressed, and nutritional support provided, the skin can heal. Dealing with these various causes synergistically can lead to positive results and clear skin in a short amount of time.
