What conditions does kinesiology treat? Discover them here

There are many conditions that can be alleviated, improved and cleared with kinesiology. A kinesiologist considers the person as a whole (not just the symptoms in isolation), and has a huge range of tools and techniques that can support your body, mind and spirit to heal from a plethora of ailments that may show up. These may include digestive issues (IBS, Crohns, constipation, Colitis etc), hormonal disruption (PMS, infertility, menopausal symptoms eg hot flushes, brain fog), poor immunity, low energy, infections, injuries, insomnia, allergies, skin issues (eczema, psoriasis, hives), anxiety and much more.

Our bodies are amazing feats of biological engineering - the human body has its own innate intelligence. After all, it can create another entire human being in just nine months. Just think about that. It probably took longer to create the iphone. Our hearts beat without us having to instruct them, we breathe, digest food and walk without thinking about what to do, never mind what the brain is capable of.

Bones mend when they break, skin heals when its cut – as long as the body has the tools. If the skin is kept clean and exposed to air, the wound will heal. If the skin isn’t kept clean, the wound won’t heal and it will become infected and possibly worse. It’s the same with many other conditions. If your body has the tools, the illness or ailment can be healed. Kinesiology can help to provide them.

In modern life, we put our bodies through a daily onslaught of toxins, from polluted air and processed food, to smoking, vaping, or everyday stresses, such as 24/7 news cycles, relational upsets and work deadlines. Yet, our bodies are always working for us, and trying to reach homeostasis (ie balance). When symptoms show up, our bodies aren’t letting us down, they are showing us that something needs addressing.

So whether you’re experiencing menopausal symptoms, fertility issues or PMS; eczema, psoriasis or acne; phobias, fears, anxiety or stress; allergies, injuries or frequent infections, kinesiology can help your body to have the tools to heal itself. In a kinesiology session, we use numerous techniques to find and treat the cause/s of a condition. Through muscle testing, your body reveals any extra nutritional support that may be required. We then work on lymphatic points - lymph (fluid) needs to flow - it helps the body to clean and feed the cells. Stagnant lymph leads to poor health. (Outside of a treatment, you can help lymph to flow through drinking (filtered) water, movement / exercise and skin brushing).

We also work on the meridian/s and acupressure points that require balancing or unblocking. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, each meridian connects to an organ and each organ represents particular emotions. For example, the liver = anger; the kidneys and bladder = fear, etc. (Disagreeable people used to be called ‘liverish’ and it’s known that people can wet themselves if in extreme fear, so this isn’t as outlandish as it might sound to some).

We acknowledge the emotions too and have stress release techniques to calm the mind, clear phobias and balance energy; as well as those that can highlight food intolerances, lower blood pressure, balance blood sugar and much more.
